Getting this message “Cheatin’ uh?, you are not allowed to edit this item” when you upload image in CTA button

If you get this message “Cheatin’ uh?, you are not allowed to edit this item” when you upload image in CTA button then please follow below steps.

Steps::

  1. Go to General settings tab in WPi Global settings.
  2. Disable “Media upload Enabled?”
  3. Click “Media” menu in WordPress admin left sidebar
  4. Click “Add New” button to upload required image
  5. Copy the uploaded image location (Absolute/Full Path)
  6. Create new CTA button and paste copied image location in custom image field

  1. I don’t have the 2.Disable “Media upload Enabled?” section available. The general tab in global settings only has
    – Dashboard Widget Enabled
    – Button ‘Rel” Attribute Enabled

    The third option as shown on your 1st image does not show on my panel
